Working with Children

We work with children as young as 5 years of age and have excellent working relationships with our local authority and education.

We work with children as young as 5 years of age and have excellent working relationships with our local authority and education. The work we undertake with children in our gym aims to improve fitness and build confidence. We also run classes for under 18s and there is a focus on peer relationships and support.

Our ability to control the gym environment means that we can support a range of varying needs, including people with complex behavioural needs. We are able to work with education services to incorporate sessions at our gyms as part of school timetables for children who need additional support in the school environment.

Young disabled adults aged 16-25  can apply to Independent Living Fund Scotland’s Transition Fund to access our services for a year. Contact us for more information.
