Olivia Fulton
Trainer
Hi, I’m Olivia and one of the personal trainers at DR Inclusive Fitness and Wellbeing. I have always had a passion for sports and sports coaching.
I had a career in nursing working with patients who have renal failure, supporting them to make decisions about their treatment and facilitating them to do their dialysis at home and live independently with their condition. I was medically retired from nursing just before COVID hit. Alongside nursing I have played and coached lacrosse at International level and dabbled in multiple other sports.
I came across DR Inclusive Fitness and Wellbeing when looking for more specialist PT to help me reach my goals in sport as my PT at the time didn’t have a great understanding of working with someone who uses a wheelchair and has a disability. I went to see Dale to sign up for PT sessions and left the meeting signed up to do my level 3 Personal Training Qualification.
I love adapting exercises and finding new innovative ways to do something when the “traditional” method is not possible. You will find me pulling all sorts of things out my bag to help support you when exercising.
My Favourite work out song:
Any 90’s cheese!
My Favourite movie:
Miracle – if you need a film to motivate you to reach your sporting goals then this is the one for you!
My Favourite snack:
Flapjack
Interesting fact about me:
I have represented Scotland in 2 sports (lacrosse and wheelchair rugby league) and Great Britain (para laser run) in 1.
